Nickel Plate Road Road steam locomotive no. 765 will return to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad once again for Steam in the Valley on September 16th-17th and 24th-25th. In 2016, these events welcomed over 4,000 passengers! These 2-hour roundtrips will feature a variety of tickets and classes including open-window coaches located behind the steam locomotive and a photo runby. Trains depart Independence, Ohio and Akron, Ohio.
These trips are also being operated during the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society’s Age of Steam Roundhouse tours and Throttle Time event.
