The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society is sponsoring two full days of tours at the Age of Steam Roundhouse on September 16th and September 23rd. Each tour is open exclusively to Society members and a guest. Cost is $40.00 per person and tours begin promptly at 9:30AM and 1:00PM each Saturday.
These 2-hour tours will take visitors through the 18-stall roundhouse, backshop and historic collection of the Age of Steam Foundation. The incredible roundhouse complex is home to 19 steam locomotives, including Berkshire no. 763 – sister to the Society’s own no. 765. The 765 will also be operating at the nearby Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad on the same weekends.
Tickets for members will be available for purchase on July 19th.
