The next few weeks in September are precious, and the 765 will be coming home to rest her drivers at the end of the month.  But before that, we have some work to finish up.  Jerrad is making great progress on the primer and should be wrapping that up in the next week or so.  That leaves the following items to tackle before heading out for those tailored stripes.
Work can be done whenever you’re available, the big push will be the week of September 12-17th  Items highlighted are must-do before shipping:
  • Traction Motor Brush holders – skilled help needed
  • Gear boxes checked/lubed – skilled help needed
  • 26L Air Valves – mounts cleaned and prepped, valves installed – work with Phil L.
  • Remove windows from cab
  • Repair FM side interior cab wall – pin hole sheet is available at shop for repairs
  • Install new window tracks
  • Sand/Paint cab
  • Install new cab windows
  • Install bell security strap – Carson
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH IS AIR BRAKE TEST!
I’ll be at the shop for a few days during the week of Sept. 12th.  I do have customer appointments on that Monday, but will be the rest of those days.
If you wish to help, please email, call or text.    Thank you!
