This past weekend the shop saw a lot of activity around 765. Other projects are prepping for work blitzes in the weeks to come.

Work on the Wabash Caboose ramps up again next weekend, April 27th. Contact DJ to get in on the email chain for that project at dj@fwrhs.org.

Work on the box car continues next weekend, April 26th. Contact Tom Nitza to get in on the email chain for that project at nitza@fwrhs.org.

358 will be coming back in the shop in may to load the newly acquired batteries and continue fabrication work. Contact WD Miller to get in on the email chain for Project 358 at miller@fwrhs.org

534 work continues every weekend. Contact Jerrad Bennet for information on that project at bennet@fwrhs.org.

In non equipment related news, the large redwood sign that has marked our property for over twenty years has begun its path to restoration. I’ll leave you with a photo of Brody Brown evicting the lichen that had decided to make the sign home.
