LAST WEEKENDS SHOP ACTIVITY

We made some progress in removing grease balls from the boiler jacket and piping under the running board.  Also cleaned and reapplied the washout plugs on the throat sheet which will hopefully repair the leaks.  Most of the weekend was taken up by meetings regarding PTC and meetings on future trip planning.  Progress was made in both areas.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

We need to get the inside of the firebox cleaned and inspected.  The outside of the engine still needs some washing.  More grease balls need to be removed.  There are improvements needed to the grounds we could work on. Someone could bring along a brush saw, chain saw or other device for removing shrubs.
