Here we are approaching 202o and oh what a year it has been. Every weekend and most weekdays volunteers worked towards restoring the Nickel Plate Box Car, Wabash Caboose, Wabash switcher #1, & Nickel Plate SD9 #358. Volunteers finished restoring a Wabash flat car and continued to preserve and maintain Nickel Plate Road #765
Our on site activities, open house, pumpkin train, and Santa train, were all a roaring success thanks to the efforts of all of our active volunteers.
Off site dozens of volunteers ensured we had a wonderful year taking 765 to Cuyahoga Valley and helping our friends at Autumn Colors Express save a West Virginia institution.
Looking ahead there are projects for everyones taste. Please, find one that interest you and do not hesitate to shoot an email or simply show up and lend a helping hand
