Saturday 358 was moved in to the shop and work continued on both sides of the battery box areas. Carson welded up the support structures of the engineer side of the electrical cabinet frame, and prepped the rest of the box by straightening up some edges for new metal.
Brandon worked on cutting rot out of the firemans side box and prepping it for new metal as well. Also did a test spot with POR-15 rust proofing.
Brody did some grinding work on the firemans side of the cab from some welds on the repair work done there previously and did some needle scaling.
Next weekend, Friday and Saturday (2/15 & 2/16) will be more metal fabrication, if we get a few more bodies, we’ll work on more POR-15. Right now, Friday Carson and myself will be there, Saturday should net Brandon again, Chris, and maybe one more. Carson and I will be there afternoon, since he has to work in the morning, likely work late into the evening Saturday.
