LAST WEEKENDS SHOP ACTIVITY
This week we fired up the engine on Friday. Once we had steam up, we tried out the repaired injector and found it to work as before the problem. The engine was serviced, and a trip was run from Angola to Quincy Michigan for the railroad. Following the trip, the engine was returned to the Hudson shops. The tender wheel swap proved successful with no noise from the tender on that trip.
UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
The engine will be kept hot over this week in preparation for the Members Day and the upcoming Tri-State trips this weekend. I hope to see many of you during this weekends events.
