Boxcar
This past Friday Tom and I with assistance from John and Carl made some progress on the boxcar. The north side door was removed along with the door track and the rotted portion of the upper beam was splinted and cut free from the car. In addition the new beam was cut and planed to the proper proportion and laid out next to the old beam and some markings were made for routing and drilling. The beam is a rather complex piece with a number of holes and recesses that need to be properly positioned
