COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS FOR
 AUTUMN RAILROAD FESTIVAL

STAFFING
• All staff and volunteers interfacing with visitors will wear gloves and face coverings
• Plexiglass barrier will be installed at the souvenir table register
• Souvenirs will be displayed to reduce waiting and exposure of merchandise

OPERATIONS
• All train rides will operate at 50% (or less) capacity
• All equipment and frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized between trips
• Total passengers served per hour is no more than 40 people
• Train trip times are staggered every 30 minutes to reduce dwell time.

EVENT

  • All food truck vendors to follow precautions and health department recommendations

  • All events and operations will be outdoors. Our shop will not be open to visitors.

  • All visitors will be encouraged to follow state guidelines/mandate regarding face coverings. Train riders must wear a mask or suitable face covering. Children three-and-under are exempt from use of face coverings.

  • Any staff or visitors exhibiting symptoms of illness will be sent home

  • Any interested parties in high-risk categories or with health concerns will be asked to self declare or not attend

  • All event attendees will be admitted by pre-sale ticket sales only, with all attendee contact information on file in the event of contact tracing

  • Total additional event attendees per hour is no more than 40 people

  • Boarding and gathering areas will be sized to encourage social distancing between trips and tours

  • Staff and volunteers will undergo a safety briefing each morning to discuss precautions, social distancing, and sanitation.

  • Hand washing stations staged at restrooms

  • Restrooms staged further apart to reduce crowding

  • Restrooms frequently and routinely sanitized by staff

  • Event signage will encourage distancing and proper sanitary habits
